Course Content
This course is six sessions long and teaches you all the basics of scent work. Each session is about an hour long but easily broken down into multiple shorter sessions, so easy to do at your own pace and in your own time.
We cover all of the basics in introducing you dog to scent work, which is the fun, sport version of sniffer dog work. We will guide you step by step as to how to introduce and build value in your scent, how to teach an indication and how to gradually progress your searches, as well as different types of searches.
A great, fun activity to do together that is mentally stimulating for your dog, without being physically taxing. The follow on courses are also available – Scent Work – The Progressions and Advanced Scent Work Skills.
After payment you will receive a welcome email that will contain your introduction notes and a link to an introduction video. Please watch this and read the notes. Any questions, let us know.
